Overview

In the canton of Vaud, the Direction générale du numérique et des systèmes d'information (DGNSI) is the central IT buyer for the cantonal administration. Other major buyers are the university hospital CHUV, the University of Lausanne, the city of Lausanne with its own IT department, the Lausanne transport operator TL, many municipalities and the region's universities of applied sciences. EPFL, a federal institution based in the canton, also publishes its purchases on simap under the BöB.

What matters

The submission language is French at every step. Suppliers from German-speaking Switzerland should take the questions round in the simap forum seriously: it is the only permitted channel for questions, its deadline comes early, and the anonymised answers become part of the binding documents. Evidence such as references and CVs must also be submitted in the required language.
