IT services tenders in Switzerland

Public IT services tenders in Switzerland, with current deadlines and full sources. Titles and summaries are translated into English. The official notices are published in German or French, and each detail page links to them on simap.ch.

Overview

IT services tenders cover software development and integration, IT consulting, operations and hosting, support, data migration, testing and outsourcing. This is where IT service providers and consultancies find most of their public market, from single project mandates to operating contracts that run for years.

Context

A large share of these procedures are framework agreements for staff and project support, often split into lots by profile. A supplier that is not admitted to such a framework is shut out of the call-offs for its whole term, so these tenders deserve close attention even when each call-off looks small. Alongside them, buyers publish specific projects: introducing a specialist application, replacing a legacy system, building a data platform or running an existing environment.

What matters

Services are judged largely on people and evidence. Eligibility criteria ask for reference projects in a comparable setting, and award criteria weight key people, approach and price. CVs must fit the requested profile and the people named must really be available, because replacing them after the award usually needs the buyer's approval. Buyers also check more and more whether effort estimates are plausible, and an unusually low estimate can cost points rather than win them.

With Sealio

Raise open points about scope, interfaces and the buyer's own contribution in the questions round. Sealio summarises the documents, shows mandatory criteria and deadlines, and notifies you when new services tenders are published in your fields. Before committing a team to an offer, compare the requested profiles and references with who is actually free to work on the contract. Check which evidence is asked of the company and which of individual people. The pricing logic has to fit the delivery model too: an estimated effort, role-based rates and a framework agreement each carry different risks. Anything the offer does not prove is hard to fix once the questions round has closed. A simple table linking each requirement to an owner and a piece of evidence shows early whether you can deliver a complete answer, and gives the internal sign-off something solid to work from.

For your bid

Check as well that the planned collaboration with the buyer and any third parties is described realistically, and that your approach fits the requested scope. The guide to IT tenders in Switzerland goes deeper into references, security and contract terms for ICT suppliers.
