The Montreux Oberland Bernois Railway is procuring project management, civil and geotechnical engineering, and site supervision to enlarge Montreux tunnel for the new railway clearance profile and maintain rail operations.
- Deliverables
- General project management, studies and works supervision for SIA partial phases 32 to 53, including coordination.
- Contract
- Time-based fees at agreed rates, with cost caps for each partial phase; overruns are borne by the contractor.
- Eligibility
- Provide 2 civil tunnel references from under 10 years old and 1 railway-tunnel geotechnical reference.
- Award
- Price, key-person references and methodology each weigh 30%; organisation weighs 10%.
- Watch out
- Labour-protection breaches trigger a penalty of 10% per case, minimum CHF 3000 and maximum CHF 100 000.
