EPFL is procuring a total-enterprise design and build of active and passive electromagnetic shielding for its new Advanced Science Building, to equip highly sensitive research laboratories.
- Deliverables
- Design, execution plans and installation of passive shielding and active field compensators.
- Eligibility
- At least six equivalent completed references: three combined shielding and active compensators, three active-only.
- Award
- Up to two candidates reach Phase II; award criteria include price, technical quality, execution organisation and sustainability.
- Watch out
- Civil liability insurance of at least 5'000'000 CHF per event; integrity breaches incur 10% of contract value, at least CHF 3 000.

Le projet Advanced Science Building (ASB) de l’EPFL vise à créer un ensemble de laboratoires de très haute technologie répondant à des exigences strictes en matière de vibrations, de champs électromagnétiques, de stabilité thermique et de contrôle hydrométrique. Implanté sur le campus, à l’emplacement de l’actuel parking de la route J.-D. Colladon, il permettra d’accueillir des installations impossibles à loger dans les bâtiments existants.
