Les ruines romaines découvertes lors des fouilles effectuées en 1971 comprennent des murs conservés sur plusieurs mètres de hauteur et de long, ainsi qu’une fresque en partie inférieure des murs. Différents problèmes de conservation résultent de la vétusté de l’ouvrage de protection des ruines, datant de 1981. Des infiltrations d’eau, une chaleur et une humidité excessive dégradent ces vestiges. L’enveloppe de l’ouvrage doit être complètement assainie et réfectionnée.
