Zürcher Verkehrsverbund ZVV is retendering Visa and Mastercard acquiring for its digital sales channels as the current arrangement is being newly awarded, to accept, process and settle remote card payments.
- Deliverables
- Acquiring must support at least 4,000,000 remote Visa and Mastercard transactions in the last completed business year.
- Contract
- Two-year contract with extension options; settlement is daily in CHF.
- Eligibility
- Prove 4,000,000 annual transactions and one 12-month reference with 300,000 transactions; maintain acquiring authorisation and technical capability.
- Award
- Price weighs 60%, price surcharges and special conditions 20%, service 10%, and company references 10%.
- Watch out
- Offers remain binding for three months; confidentiality, data-security and delay breaches incur contractual penalties.

Der Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV) betreibt selbst verschiedene digitale Vertriebskanäle. Dazu gehören insbesondere die ZVV-App, der ZVV-Online-Ticketshop sowie andere webbasierte Vertriebssysteme für den telefonischen oder selbstbedienten Verkauf. Fahrgäste können ihre Fahrausweise in den dafür vorgesehenen digitalen Vertriebskanälen mit verschiedenen digitalen Zahlungsmitteln und unter anderem mit Debit- und Kreditkarten von Visa und Mastercard bezahlen. Das Acquiring für Kartentransaktionen mit Visa und Mastercard, insbesondere die vertragliche Akzeptanz, Verarbeitung und Abrechnung der Zahlungen, wird per 1. Januar 2027 neu vergeben. Aufgrund des Auftragsvolumens erfolgt die Vergabe im Rahmen einer öffentlichen Ausschreibung gemäss dem anwendbaren Beschaffungsrecht. Gegenstand der Ausschreibung sind die Acquiring-Dienstleistungen für Visa- und Mastercard-Zahlungen im Distanzgeschäft über die digitalen Vertriebskanäle des ZVV. Das Payment Service Providing ist nicht Bestandteil der Beschaffung. Der derzeitige Payment Service Provider (PSP) des ZVV ist Datatrans.
