Romande Energie souhaite acquérir 200 switches industriels ainsi que la reprise du support et la maintenance pour l’ensemble du parc existant, soit 1190 équipements. Ce marché s’inscrit dans le cadre du développement de l’infrastructure de communication pour les applications smart metering (comptage intelligent) et de télécommande des stations Moyenne Basse Tension (MBT). Les nouveaux switches seront intégrés dans les boucles de communication existantes utilisant déjà des équipements Cisco IE2000 et IE3100. L'interopérabilité et la cohérence protocolaire avec le parc existant constituent des exigences fondamentales.
