Stadt St.Gallen is procuring funeral services to fulfil its statutory duty to coordinate dignified, compliant care, transport and burial of the deceased.
- Deliverables
- Supply coffins, prepare and transport deceased persons, provide body care and return ashes; indicative annual volumes include 649 transfers and 625 coffins.
- Contract
- Five-year service costs form the evaluated offer; the total must be a cost ceiling, including a CHF 25'000 annual flat fee for specified services.
- Eligibility
- Require two comparable clients from the last five years, at least eight staff totalling 500 Stellenprozente, and a German-language offer.
- Award
- Price and service requirements each weigh 40%; provider references and sustainability weigh 10% each; an unpaid in-person presentation is mandatory.
- Watch out
- no joint bids or partial offers, and proposal preparation is unpaid.
