Führen einer kantonalen Opferberatungstelle im Sinne des Bundesgesetzes über die Hilfe an Opfer von Straftaten vom 23. März 2007 (Opferhilfegesetz, OHG, SR 312.5) für den Kanton Schwyz. Die Opferberatungsstelle berät Opfer im Sinne des OHG sowie deren Angehörige kostenlos und unterstützt sie bei der Wahrung ihrer Rechte. Darüber hinaus leistet und vermittelt die Opferberatungsstelle dem Opfer und seinen Angehörigen die notwendige medizinische, psychologische, soziale, materielle und juristische Soforthilfe und längerfristige Hilfe.
