SBB CFF FFS Infra-Energie is renewing Châtelard II’s equipment to maintain railway-power supply to western Switzerland and the Simplon line, replacing pump P2 and associated systems.

- Optional replacement of storage pump P1 and its ball valve is included.

Das Kraftwerk Châtelard I liegt in der Ortschaft Le Châtelard der Gemeinde Finhaut im Kanton Wallis und wurde zwischen den Jahren 1919 und 1923 erbaut. 1972 wurde das Kraftwerk um die Anlage Châtelard II ergänzt, was die betriebliche Flexibilität der Anlage weiter verbessert. Das Kraftwerk dient primär der Bahnstromversorgung (16.7Hz) der Westschweiz und der Simplonlinie. m Rahmen des vorliegenden Projekts «Erhebliche Erneuerung der Kaskade Barberine» sind umfangreiche Erneuerungsarbeiten an der bestehenden Kraftwerksanlage geplant. In Châtelard II, ist eine vertikale mehrstufige Kreiselpumpe für die Maschinengruppe MG2 sowie ein Kugelschieber mit Expansion, eine Eintrittsklappe und eine gemeinsame Hydraulikölversorgung für die neue Pumpe P2 neu zu liefern. Die ausgeschriebenen Leistungen umfassen die Planung, Herstellung, Lieferung, Montage, Inbetriebsetzung und Abnahmetest der Hauptkomponenten und deren Hilfssytemen und der weiteren ausgeschrieben Komponenten/Anlagenteile. Als optionaler Leistungsumfang ist der Ersatz der Speicherpumpe P1 und des Kugelschieber P1 ausgeschrieben.
