Le développement du réseau Genilac sur le boulevard Helvétique s'inscrit dans un environnement urbain particulièrement dense, caractérisé par une forte concentration d'infrastructures souterraines, d'axes de mobilité structurants et de projets d'aménagement menés simultanément par plusieurs maîtres d'ouvrage (SIG, OCT, Ville de Genève, TPG). La définition du tracé a nécessité d’intégrer les contraintes techniques et les contraintes liées à la gestion du trafic durant les différentes phases de réalisation des travaux.
