BLS AG is procuring track civil engineering for the staged replacement of its Oberburg workshop, following the decision to concentrate train maintenance at three sites and establish a new S-Bahn maintenance facility.
- Deliverables
- Works include ballast excavation, track formation, drainage, cable infrastructure, FL and SA foundations, utility diversions and reinstatement.
- Eligibility
- Provide two comparable rail-operational references over CHF 2.0 million, plus one 48-hour intensive-phase reference; hold or arrange EVU access.
- Award
- Overall economic efficiency carries 50%; provider quality and offer quality each carry 25%.
- Watch out
- Maintain CHF 20 million liability cover per claim and year, including stated CHF 5 million and CHF 1 million sublimits.

Projektvorstellung Die BLS betreibt am Standort Oberburg seit 1977 eine Werkstätte zur schweren und leichten Instandhaltung der Züge. Aufgrund des Wegfalls des Standortes Bern Aebimatt hat sich der BLS-Verwaltungsrat am 28.10.2016 entschieden, die künftige Instandhaltung an den drei Standorten Spiez, Bönigen und Oberburg zu konzentrieren. Am Standort Oberburg (Gemeinde Burgdorf) soll eine neue Werkstätte für die betriebsnahe Instandhaltung der S-Bahn Flotte in Betrieb genommen werden. Die heutigen Gebäude und Gleisanlagen sollen in Etappen zurückgebaut und durch Neubauten ersetzt werden. Auftrag / Leistungsbeschreibung Aushub Altschotter Trassenbau (Unterbauerneuerung, Vorschotterung) Gleisentwässerung (inkl. Pumpendruckleitung) Kabeltiefbau (Kabelkanäle, Kabelschächte und -Querungen) FL und SA-Fundamente Umlegung von diversen Werkleitungen (Swisscom und Localnet, Hydrant) Rückbau und Wiederherstellung provisorische Bahnübergänge Bankette, Dienstwege und Ruderalflächen
