Gemeindewerke Pfäffikon is procuring design, fabrication, delivery and installation of pipework for ARA Schanz’s digester expansion and refurbishment.
- Deliverables
- Scope includes V4A sludge and gas pipes, V2A service-water pipes, insulation, temporary works, 3D model, commissioning and documentation.
- Contract
- One works contract; prices fixed through overall acceptance, with escalation reimbursed only above 5%.
- Award
- Apprentice-training share and references are assessed; ARA and biogas projects, sludge and gas pipework score better.
- Watch out
- Offer remains binding for 6 months; a 10% performance guarantee must be secured, and liability insurance maintained throughout the contract.
