Die bestehende 230 m lange Quartiersammelstrasse im Zentrum von Eschenbach ist im Zuge der Sanierung umzugestalten in eine verkehrsberuhigte Strasse. Die Obergass- Kirchgass ist ein stark frequentierter Schulweg . Die Strasse dient als Zufahrt zur Kirche, Friedhof, Schule, Pension Mürtschen und einem Detailhäldner, sowie zu einzelnen Wohnbauten. Die Strasse ist während den Bauarbeiten generell für den Verkehr offenzuhalten. Nur in spezifische dafür vorgesehenen Zeitfenstern sind abschnittsweise Sperrungen möglich (siehe Bauphasenpläne). Die Stassenentwässerung und Strassenbeleuchtung wird komplett erneuert. Werkleitungsarbeiten für Trinkwasser und Abwasser werden koordiniert erneuert und ausgebaut. Rohrlegearbeiten für Trinkwasser und Elektroinstallationen für die Beleuchtung sowie Gärtnerarbeiten für die Bepflanzung sind nicht Bestandteil des Auftrags. Die Arbeiten mit den weiteren Arbeitsgattungen sind zu koordinieren. Die Ausführung der Bauarbeiten ist in 8 Etappen geplant.
