Die Rietstrasse in Benken ist im Abschnitt der Rietstrasse 5 – 18 in einem schlechten Zustand und muss saniert werden. Bei diversen Strassenbereichen gibt es stehendes Regenabwasser, da die Strasse gegenüber den Strassenabläufen unterschiedlich gesetzt hat. Die Randabschlüsse und der Belag sollen im gesamten Projektperimeter komplett ersetzt werden. Weiter soll in einem Abschnitt die öffentliche Beleuchtung erneuert werden.
