Abwasserverband Thurau is replacing four wastewater treatment plants with a new 130'000-inhabitant plant, including a legally required fourth treatment stage to remove micropollutants. The phased build requires automation that keeps wastewater treatment running throughout.
- Deliverables
- Supply and commission decentralized PLCs, process control, alarms, operational data capture and communications for the plant and external facilities.
- Eligibility
- Provide two references, each with at least 8'000 I/O data points, accepted within the stated period or already partly commissioned.
- Watch out
- Integrity breaches may trigger exclusion from future public contracts for up to five years or a fine up to ten percent of the adjusted offer.

Die Abwasserreinigungsanlagen (ARA) in Wil, Jonschwil, Zuzwil und Uzwil werden aufgehoben und es wird eine neue ARA auf dem Standort der ARA Uzwil in Niederuzwil gebaut. Die neue Anlage wird auf 130'000 Einwohner dimensioniert. Dabei ist von Gesetzes wegen eine vierte Reinigungsstufe zur Elimination von Mikroverunreinigungen zu integrieren. Da das Abwasser von Uzwil zu jedem Zeitpunkt gereinigt werden muss, wird der Neubau in mehrere Etappen gegliedert. Der Auftrag umfasst die Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme von: Automatisierungssystem mit dezentral angeordneten speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerungen Prozessleitsystem Alarmierungssystem System zur Betriebsdatenerfassung Kommunikationseinrichtungen Die erforderlichen Systeme inklusive deren Erweiterungen sind nach dem derzeitigen Stand der Technik und den heute bekannten Bedürfnissen und Zielsetzungen auszuführen. Die Prozesssteuerungen der einzelnen Verfahrensbereiche der ARA müssen unabhängig voneinander etappenweise in Betrieb genommen werden können.
