Die RhB benötigt pro Jahr rund 30'000 Tonnen (t) Schotter. Der Bedarf verteilt sich unregelmässig über das gesamte Netz der RhB. Der Bedarf an Schotter hängt direkt von der Art und Anzahl Baustellen auf den Streckenabschnitten ab. Der Bezug des Schotters durch die RhB erfolgt ab dezentralen Verladestationen. Ein Lieferant kann für mehrere Verladestellen Offer-ten abgeben.
