IWB Industrielle Werke Basel is replacing unsupported, end-of-life AC450 controllers at its Basel waste-to-energy plant with AC800M systems to restore supported control infrastructure.
- Deliverables
- Replace five AC450 controllers with AC800M PM866AK02, redundant Profibus-DP links, gateways and migrated software.
- Contract
- Separate contracts for both lots are planned as 5-year framework contracts, with no guaranteed order volume.
- Eligibility
- German-only offer; Lot 2 requires a recent completed AC450-to-AC800M migration reference and qualified key-person references.
- Award
- Lot 1: price 80%, sustainability 20%; Lot 2: price and key-person references 40% each, sustainability 20%.
- Watch out
- AMPL code must not be shared with third parties; migrated code must preserve functions and be commissioned on site.

In der Kehrichtverwertungsanlage Basel (KVA), sind ABB Prozesskontroller AC450 im Einsatz. Diese werden von ABB nicht mehr unterstützt/gewartet, sind daher am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer und müssen ersetzt werden. Der Kontroller-Ersatz wird in 2 unabhängigen Losen vergeben: Los 1: Notwendige Hardware für Kontroller und IO-Stationen inklusive Schnittstellen. Los 2: Softwaremigration bestehende Kontroller AC450 zu AC800M. Das Übersetzen der alten Software muss ohne Anpassung der verfahrenstechnischen Funktionen erfolgen.
