Der Bahnhof Kreuzlingen wird im Rahmen des Ausbauschrittes STEP A35 auf der Nordseite um ein neues Aussenperron von einer Länge von 130 Meter ergänzt. Der neue Perron (Gleis 4) wird mit zwei Rampen barrierefrei an die beiden bestehenden Personenunterführungen PU-Konstanzerstrasse und PU-Alleestrasse angeschlossen. Das ca. 300 Meter lange Gleistrassee für das Gleis 4 wird mit Dienstweg neu gebaut. Das bestehende Mittelperron (Gleis 2 und 3) wird auf der Ost- und Westseite um ca. 30m verlängert und diverse Möblierungselemente werden ersetzt.
