In den fünf Alterszentren der Stadt Winterthur werden jährlich knapp 300'000 Einheiten Backwaren eingekauft. Die Backwaren werden von den rund 640 Bewohnenden, von den Mitarbeitenden und den Gästen der öffentlichen Restaurants in den Alterszentren konsumiert. Mit der Submission soll sichergestellt werden, dass Alter und Pflege der Stadt Winterthur die Backwaren zu besten Bedingungen und in bester Qualität bei einem über die gesamte Vertragsdauer zuverlässigen Partner beziehen kann. Um den Bestellaufwand möglichst gering zu halten, macht der Anbieter/die Anbieterin den gesamten Submissionsgegenstand über die Bestellplattform (Hogashop.ch) verfügbar.
