Energie Opfikon AG is procuring engineering and multidisciplinary lead services for a district heating and cooling energy centre, advancing the citywide heat network aimed at its 2050 net-zero goal and primarily using data-centre waste heat.
- Deliverables
- SIA 102 overall leadership and SIA 108 HLKS planning cover main, fallback and redundancy scenarios.
- Eligibility
- Submit company and project-lead references, including comparable projects completed within the last five years.
- Award
- Price and quality each carry 50%; quality assesses references and the proposed team.
- Watch out
- An integrity breach can trigger a penalty of 10% of the adjusted offer, minimum CHF 3,000 and maximum CHF 1,000,000 per breach.

Die Stadt Opfikon verfolgt das Netto-Null Ziel bis 2050. Mit der Verankerung der Wärme- und Kälteversorgung als kommunale Aufgabe wurde die Energieversorgung als strategische Infrastruktur definiert und die Energie Opfikon AG (EOAG) mit der Realisierung eines Wärmeverbundes für das gesamte Stadtgebiet beauftragt. Opfikon soll primär mit Abwärme des Rechenzentrums Digital Realty versorgt werden. Über die EZ ARA Opfikon wird künftig Opfikon mit Wärme und allenfalls mit Kälte versorgt.
