Procurement of replacement ventilation car for the Simplon Tunnel

Infrastruktur Flottenprojekte is replacing the Simplon Tunnel fan wagon as part of Meroppo, to renew the ventilation unit used with the existing energy wagon.
- Deliverables
- Deliver one fan wagon, engineered from the buyer-provided flat wagon and fan, sealed to the tunnel profile.
- Contract
- Optional maintenance and installation support for 25 years, exercisable in annual increments.
- Eligibility
- Require one recent EN-14033 machine reference, German C1 key staff, ISO 9001 or equivalent, and average annual turnover of 25% of contract value.
- Award
- Price and quality each carry 50% of the award weight.
- Watch out
- late delivery penalties are 1‰ per day, capped at 10% of remuneration.

Die SBB AG ersetzt ihren Lüfterwagen für den Simplontunnel, welcher zusammen mit dem Energiewagen eine Belüftungseinheit bildet, unter dem Projektnamen "Meroppo". Dafür stellt die SBB einen 4-Achsigen Flachwagen und den Ventilator bei, woraus der neue Lüfterwagen inklusive Abdichtung zum Tunnelprofil erstellt werden muss. Der neue Lüfterwagen muss zusammen mit dem bestehenden Energiewagen funktionieren (max. Leistung 500 kW). Gefordert sind Entwicklung, Planung, Herstellung, Inbetriebnahme, Lieferung, Betreuung während der Garantiephase sowie Dokumentation und Schulung. Menge: ein Lüfterwagen
