Modern 'Sala Prova’ electrical testing laboratory for the Castione-Arbedo maintenance centre

Schweizerische Bundesbahnen SBB Division Produktion Personenverkehr is equipping its new Castione-Arbedo maintenance centre with an electric test laboratory to test rail-vehicle traction motors and high-voltage components.
- Deliverables
- Deliver a turnkey, standards-compliant test facility enabling no-load, load and high-voltage tests across roughly 150 m².
- Contract
- One-off services are priced at fixed lump sums; bids may cover either or both lots.
- Eligibility
- Submit ISO 9001 or equivalent quality-system evidence and proof of an implemented risk-management system.
- Award
- Award weighting: total costs 60%, technical compliance 39%, EcoVadis CSR 1%; SBB may invite presentations.
- Watch out
- Late delivery incurs 1‰ per day, capped at 10% of total remuneration for one-off services.
- Lot 1
- Electrical infrastructure: 16.7 Hz and 50 Hz supply, grounding, technical room and office container.
- Lot 2
- Safety controls, automation, measurement, data acquisition, HMI, software and IIT network integration.

Die Sala Prova ist ein elektrisches Prüflabor im neuen Instandhaltungszentrum Castione-Arbedo (NSIF nuovo stabilimento industriale ferroviario). Sie dient der Durchführung von elektrischen Prüfungen an Komponenten von Schienenfahrzeugen, insbesondere an Fahrmotoren und Hochspannungskomponenten aufgeteilt in 2 Losen.
