The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office appoints national reference laboratories under food law for nine specialist fields, to deliver the services required by the LMVV.
- Deliverables
- Core duties include EU-RL proficiency testing, guidance to official labs and scientific support to BLV.
- Contract
- Per lot, core work is paid by hours spent, with a separate optional proficiency-testing service.
- Eligibility
- Each offered lot requires at least two years’ experience, supporting analysis, proficiency-test and methods records, plus accreditation copy.
- Award
- Scoring: qualitative criteria 55%, price 30%, dossier quality 5%, and number of lots 10%.
- Watch out
- Integrity breaches incur a penalty of 10% of contract value, minimum CHF 3,000 per breach.
