The Canton of Basel-Stadt’s Department of Construction and Transport is buying general metalwork for the Institute of Forensic Medicine’s replacement site, created by the conversion and replacement-build project, to support its new laboratory, lecture hall and office facilities.
- Deliverables
- The contractor must produce detailed workshop, construction and installation plans, approved before fabrication.
- Eligibility
- The bidder and proposed project manager each need a BKP 272 reference worth approx. CHF 150,000 or more, completed within ten years.
- Award
- Price carries 100.0% of the award weighting.
- Watch out
- A breach of labour, equal-pay or environmental duties triggers a penalty of 10% of remuneration, minimum CHF 20'000.

Umbau zweier Gebäude sowie Abbruch und Ersatzneubau für den neuen Standort des Instituts für Rechtsmedizin in Basel. Die umzubauenden Gebäude sollen als Laborgebäude mit Hörsaal (Socinstrasse 57a) respektive als Bürogebäude (Socinstrasse 55a) genutzt werden.
