Der Kanton plant in Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde Pratteln den Aufbau eines Erstaufnahmeheims auf der Parzelle Nr. 4514 in Pratteln. Die Parzelle Nr. 4514 befindet sich in Kantonsbesitz. Mittels Modulbau-Verfahren sollen Unterbringungskapazitäten für Asyl- und Schutzsuchende geschaffen werden. Es sind eine 24-Stunden-Betreuung, die Beschulung von Kindern, medizinische Versorgung sowie Beschäftigungs- und Sprachförderangebote vorgesehen.
