Das Gebäude besteht aus einem Unter-, Erd- und einem Obergeschoss, sowie einem Dachgeschoss. Die bisher U-förmige Gebäudeform wird zu einem rechteckigen Baukörper mit rundem Innenhof umgestaltet. Im bestehenden Untergeschoss befinden sich Technik-, Garderoben- und Nebenräume. In den Geschossen darüber Erd- und Obergeschoss sind Patientenzimmer, das Stationsbüro sowie Allgemeinräume für die Klinikpatienten untergebracht. Der Innenhof ist über das Erdgeschoss zugänglich. Das Dachgeschoss wird für die Haustechnik genutzt und ist über die beiden bestehenden Treppenhäuser erschlossen.
