Bei der gesuchten Dienstleistung im Rahmen dieser Ausschreibung handelt es sich um die Erbringung von Sicherheitsdienstleistungen beim Justiz- und Sicherheitsdepartement des Kantons Basel-Stadt. Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung ist die Bewachung von Personen in Polizeigewahrsam, von beschuldigten sowie inhaftierten Personen während medizinisch notwendiger Aufenthalte in Spitälern oder anderen medizinischen Institutionen. Die Bewachung erfolgt ergänzend zu den polizeilichen Massnahmen. Das beauftragte Unternehmen stellt für jeden Einsatz geeignete Sicherheitsmitarbeitende, welche die lückenlose Überwachung der betroffenen Person sicherstellen. Ziel ist es, Fluchtversuche zu verhindern, die Sicherheit des Spitalpersonals sowie Dritter zu gewährleisten und die Einhaltung der behördlichen Vorgaben sicherzustellen.
