Invitation procedure

The contracting authority invites a limited number of chosen bidders directly to submit an offer.

In an invitation procedure, the contracting authority selects the companies it invites to bid. No public call is issued, so only the invited firms can submit an offer.

The contract value has to stay below the threshold that applies to this procedure. Even when the authority already knows the company, the published rules on deadlines, criteria, and equal treatment remain binding.

A company that is never invited has no formal way into this procedure. Good visibility on SIMAP and solid references improve the odds of being considered for future invitations.
